Mission

In a knowledge-based society, students in Hong Kong need to engage in life-long learning in order to better prepare themselves for the challenges of the 21st Century. School Libraries play an essential role in equipping students with the skills of learning to read and reading to learn to enhance their overall capacity for life-long learning and whole-person development.

CASCCMC School Library aims to provide access to resources that are factual, stimulating, interesting and informative, in order to promote literacy and the joy of
extensive reading. And the library serves as an information center where materials and activities are provided to assist students in developing skills of information search, organization and evaluation etc., enrich their knowledge and support life-long learning.





The School Library contains a well-rounded collection of both Chinese and English monographs, audio and visual materials, CD-Roms on reference and educational programs, Civic Education materials, Career Counseling materials and Professional journals for teachers. Many useful educational links and recommended Internet sites are in the Online Resources Section.
To help students to use library materials more efficiently in their studies, our student librarians render various library-related services. This year, we will continue to try our best to serve our teachers and students in a more effective and efficient way. We have set up a team of Library Prefects, re-organized the duty system and will provide more relevant trainings to Library Prefects, in order to provide high quality services. More importantly, we have created this homepage to facilitate information access and enhance communication between librarians and library users.

The School as a whole and the librarians are constantly seeking to improve our services. Any suggestions and comments from teachers, parents and students are heartily encouraged.
